Reflection
This artifact was created to fulfill the final project requirements for 240:240, Instructional Design. It is intended to support the creation of a 2-4 hour online training course for the course management system Blackboard. Using the ADDIE design model, I created an online training course. Throughout the planning, I used the ECIT standards described within this reflection.
This project emphasized the ECIT Standard of Design. It required me to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to design conditions for learning by applying principles of instructional systems design, message design, instructional strategies, and learner characteristics. The process began by analyzing the need for learning, what was to be learned and the context in which learning was to take place. I identified learning characteristics and outcomes, and I grew in my understanding of the process of design.
